|
 | Established in 1989, this Southern California based company originally specialized in
rotating machinery design. Major focus centered on comprehensive design process tasks
including conceptual layout, design review presentation and detail drawing creation with
hardware vendor follow-through support provided where necessary. Concept verification was
established through written assembly procedures and preliminary engineering calculations.
Detailed structural, performance, stability and thermodynamic analysis, where required,
were provided by sub-contractors. |
|
 | In the summer of 1992, another division was created to support acquisition of
StarNet.
StarNet was a commercial, multi-line, bulletin-board software package for the Amiga
computer. Upon completion of the acquisition StarNet was rewritten to incorporate system
and API shared libraries developed by MEBBS E&S and released as MEBBSNet. Customer
service was offered through a custom network with representatives in the UK, Australia,
Sweden, Denmark and the USA. |
|
 | Extensive 'cradle-to-grave' mechanical design experience coupled with highly proficient
software design, development and customer support has thrust the company into a new and
exciting area. With the advent of Pro/TOOLKIT® and ADS/ARX®, company emphasis has
shifted to code development specifically targeted at design process optimization and
automation. |
|
 | Software development at MEBBS E&S is typically accomplished through the use of C/C++
development packages on UNIX and Windows® operating systems. The Pro/TOOLKIT® API has
been used to develop innovative and exciting new design tools which drive the master
design model with offline and integrated analysis codes. |
